At Pembury Pre-school, we believe that every child deserves a warm and nurturing beginning. From 9 months to school age, we provide a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where children can grow, thrive at their own pace. As a Charity-run setting rooted in our local community, we are proud to offer a caring space where families feel supported, and little ones build strong foundations for life-long learning.
At Pembury Pre-school, we offer a warm, inclusive curriculum based on the EYFS and Development Matters, supporting children from 9 months to school age. Our play-based learning is child-led, nurturing each child’s unique development, interests, and needs — including those with SEND, using the Developmental Journal.
We follow the Three I’s (Intent, Implementation, Impact), promote British Values, and build cultural capital through real-life experiences. As a proud recipient of the London Mayor’s Bronze Early Years Award, we’re committed to high-quality care, strong community values, and helping every child to thrive.
Pembury Pre-school is led by a dedicated team of qualified Early Years Practitioners and supported by a passionate voluntary management committee, made up of parents and community members.

We accept the government-funded hours for eligible children, including the current 15 and 30 hours of funding, and we are fully prepared to accommodate the extended funding entitlements being introduced from September.
💡 Funded hours are completely free of charge. However, as a charity, we rely on voluntary donations to help cover the cost of essential consumables such as snacks, craft materials, and hygiene products. These donations are optional but greatly appreciated.
For any hours outside of your funded entitlement, standard fees will apply. We aim to keep these fees as low as possible to ensure our provision remains inclusive and affordable for all.
📞 Please contact us directly for our current fee structure and to discuss your child’s eligibility for funding.
